THE MARKET

The two sister companies HolwegWeber continue to develop in relation with the changes in the different market segments.
We are proud to share the same capability to propose and manufacture.

HISTORICAL CONVERGENCE

The great Holweg adventure began in 1889, when Charles Holweg set up a modest paper trade. At the time, the soaring paper bag market made Charles and his brother August turn to manufacturing the precious packaging material.

HG Weber was founded in 1925 by Herman Gustave Weber, a German engineer who had emigrated to the USA in 1899. It grew gradually, and first spread throughout the North American market.

Services:

The global reach of the two organisations allows them to provide local service on all levels. All our departments are in continuous communication, in all respects: Sales, Designing, Shipment, R&D, Customer Service, Spare Parts, etc.

Know-how:

While the two companies master distinct technology that has been developed over the years, their collaboration offers the possibility to use the technology acquired separately to serve all the machinery of the two sister companies.

MARKET MATCH

Changes in society, culture, economy and technology are generating new perspectives in the various market segments. Packaging is now being imagined that were not conceivable in the recent past. That suggests that what is needed is both more specialisation, and more homogeneity, such as the use of printing. The turnkey solutions provided by HolwegWeber fully address that new paradigm.
